The 2nd Annual Jane Austen Festival in 2009 was a huge success with nearly 1,000 attending from 15 states! 345 were served Afternoon Tea over the two days.
The 2010 Festival will again take place at Historic Locust Grove (www.locustgrove.org) on July 10 & 11 from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day. The Jane Austen Ball will be on Saturday, July 10 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Attendance is limited to 125.
Four new vendors for the Regency Emporium will set-up outside this year. Inside vendors will continue selling antiquarian books, bonnets, fabric, silhouettes & more!
Kim Wilson, author of “In the Garden with Jane Austen” and “Tea with Jane Austen” will be our guest author and will speak each day.
Keep checking for updates on workshops. Registration for the ball, workshops and tea will start in mid-May.
